The Carnegie Hero Fund Trust has honoured over 7,000 hero’s in the UK since its creation by Andrew Carnegie in 1908.

They wanted an Access database of their records to make it easier to respond to enquiries. A database was written by another company, but it suffered a catastrophic failure after about 1,000 records were created.
